These medieval style hoods and mantles (above) have a short tail on the back of the hood. The lined hoods are semifelted wool, lined with felted flannel; the reversible hoods have wool on both sides, so they are very warm. Documentable to 14th century English origins, these hoods are a great addition to your SCA or LARP garb collection and are the perfect topper for a cape that has no hood. They are also available by custom order for your particular colors. One size fits most. Prices range from $45 (Lined) to $75 (Reversible).
